Midwest Christian Montessori serves children in preprimary, kindergarten, and 1st through 6th grades.
Our goal is to provide a Christian environment coupled with the Montessori method of learning which allows for the spiritual, educational, and developmental growth of our students. We are registered as a private school with the Illinois State Board of Education and meet all state and local regulations.
We are not affiliated with any particular church organization. Our staff and students come from a variety of different Christian churches in the area.
Our school is unique in being a Christian school as well as a Montessori school. As Christian teachers, we strive to give the children a firm foundation in the Bible, familiarizing them with God's word through scripture memorization, stories, songs and drama.
We do not teach any particular doctrine but rather basic Christian values.
We try in all that we do to show by example how Christians should lead their lives.

MCMA is a fantastic school! The classes are quite small but the teachers keep the students both engaged and challenged! As a result, the students are excited to learn. The students benefit from Music and Spanish classes starting as early as pre-K. The teachers really care for the students on a personal level which makes me feel great as a parent. The academics are above grade level - many KG students read at a 1st grade level. I recommend this school to all looking for a loving yet challenging environment for their children.
